Tuber Sales Policy
Thank you for your interest in tubers from Mayr Family Farm. We take great care in growing, dividing, and storing our dahlias, and we want you to have a positive experience from purchase through planting. Please review our sales policy before placing an order.
Ordering

​​Your order is confirmed only after you check out and receive an order confirmation number and email. We do not accommodate cart holds.

Tuber sales are offered seasonally, and quantities are limited.

All tubers are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Placing an order does not guarantee availability until you receive an order confirmation.
Shipping

Tubers are shipped via USPS in the spring (usually mid April), weather permitting, at the appropriate planting time for most regions. We charge a flat rate of $15 for shipping.

Shipping dates are estimates and may shift due to weather conditions or farm workload.

We currently ship within the United States only (unfortunately excluding Alaska & Hawaii).

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.

We will offer a local pick up date for those of you wanting your tubers earlier on March 15, 2026 or mid April (date & time will be emailed to those that choose this option). There is a flat $7 handling fee for local pick up (shows as local delivery for website caterogy)
Tuber Quality

We sell divided tubers, not clumps, unless otherwise noted.

Each tuber is carefully inspected and labeled, and will be shipped with at least one viable eye.

Due to the natural variability of tubers, size and shape may vary.
Growing Conditions

We cannot guarantee growth or performance once tubers leave our farm.

Dahlias are living plants, and success depends on factors beyond our control, including soil conditions, climate, pests, storage, and care.

We strongly recommend researching proper dahlia growing and storage practices for your region.
Refunds, Replacements & Cancellations

All sales are final.

If you receive a tuber that is clearly damaged or nonviable upon arrival, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos. After that 7 days have past, you accept full responsibility for your tub

At our discretion, we may offer a replacement or refund if inventory allows.

We do not offer refunds or replacements for tubers that fail to grow due to planting conditions, weather, or improper care.

We do not refund for damage due to bad weather, rot once planted, viruses, pests, poor field conditions, negligence or plant performance.
Varietal Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure tubers are labeled correctly.

In the rare event of a mislabeling, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the tuber.
